Young Corporation Reappointed as a 'Designated Trading Company' – Attends 2025 Certification Ceremony
Young Corporation has been officially reappointed as a Designated Trading Company by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) of Korea. The 2025 Designation Ceremony, co-hosted by KOTRA and the Korea International Trade Association, was held on July 8, 2025, at COEX in Seoul.
A total of 101 companies were selected for this year’s program. Young Corporation, first appointed in 2022, was re-designated in recognition of its continued export capabilities and strong global trade partnerships.
The Designated Trading Company Program, launched in 2014, supports export-driven businesses and helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) expand into global markets. Companies must meet specific criteria such as a minimum annual or three-year average export volume of USD 1 million, and at least 20% of total exports directed toward SMEs. The designation is valid for a period of three years.
During the ceremony, Young Corporation received its new certificate and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the global expansion of Korean manufacturing SMEs through customized export solutions.
A representative from Young Corporation stated:
“With this reappointment, we are more committed than ever to assisting outstanding Korean SMEs in entering new markets. Backed by our accumulated trade experience and global networks, we will continue to fulfill our role as a reliable export partner.”
